We’d like to welcome Eli Williamson to the design team at MojoTech. How could we resist a guy with his creative eye, and a resume that includes things like hacking the Microsoft Kinect platform for Home Depot?

We asked Eli some questions, and here’s what he had to say:

Before your life at MojoTech, what was the most interesting project you ever worked on?

The most interesting project I have ever worked on was an augmented reality interactive decision support tool for Home Depot where we hacked the Microsoft Kinect platform to recognize gestural direction.

What website or web app impresses you so much that you wish you designed it yourself?

Nike’s Better World website is one that will go down in history as ground breaking. From the imagery to the code to the concept, Nike did a great job in crafting a solid website.

What’s the next technology that’s going to take over the world?

After geeking out to CES (Consumer Electronics Show) I think that OLED technology will be hitting the market soon and revolutionizing the way we view things. Say goodbye to folding your laptop—with OLED you can roll it.

What do you like to do when you’re not designing products?

In my free time I enjoy doodling cartoons and creating my own typefaces. I also enjoy my adventure days - where I grab a buddy or just my camera to travel and capture moments with the sound of a CLICK.

Welcome to the team, Eli!
